This small smart phone has entered with the hopes of challenging the big players.
The new addition to the HTC line of Android based smartphones is the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE. The phone retains the general size of its predecessors but boasts a much powerful 1.5 GHz processor and HTC’s ImageSense camera processor.
In terms of size, the Incredible 4G LTE is only 4.8 x 2.4 x 0.5 inches and weighs just 4.8 ounces. This small size makes the Incredible 4G LTE really incredible to hold in your hand compared to the bigger smartphones that are in the market.
The back side of the phone is rubber textured to give a good grip and has red bezel around the camera lens. While the front side of the phone is surrounded by thin shiny black plastic band. The red outlines are also present on the power-button, speaker grill and the earpiece.
The 4-inch qHD Super LCD features a 960 x 540 pixel resolution and looks sharp and bright, though not as good as the HTC Rezound ($199.99). The onscreen typing works like a charm as well.
With a dual EV-DO Rev. A (850/1900 Mhz) and a single-band LTE (700 MHz) device with 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, the data speeds on the Verizons 4G LTE network are excellent.
The voice quality on the phone is very clear too. Calls are easily heard with natural quality and good noise cancellation.
The 1700mAh battery gives the Incredible 4G LTE an 8 hours 43 minute talk-time, which is absolutely incredible!
This phone should go well down with people who have a liking for medium sized phones. The phone has a good size, and manages to pack some decent punch.
